Two of my co-riders had given up, and the third had pulled ahead. I was all alone falling behind all the rider. The night was getting colder, and ahead lay a reserve forest I had to cross. Mental Fatigued, isolated, and first time riding in the night now I am on the verge of quitting, I continued pushing forward, wondering if I should just stop. Then, a pack of stray dogs appeared out of nowhere, chasing me. Their growls echoed in the darkness as they circled around, and I had no choice but to stop, shoo them away, and wait for them to lose interest. My heart raced with fear, and for a moment, I thought about quitting. But then, I remembered—it was my debut BRM, and I couldn’t give up now. I took a deep breath, refreshed myself, and decided to keep going.
As I continued, the terrain changed. The road became rougher, and the light conditions were so poor I couldn’t tell if my eyes were open or closed. I realized I was now in the reserve forest. It felt surreal, and suddenly, my bike’s headlight illuminated two snakes crossing the road ahead. I froze for a moment, unsure of what to do, but by the time I processed the scene, what happened next was surprised.
